it doesnt look to real to me, he would lose much more blood then its already spread on the road, and he would actually die instantly, or atleast go in coma because of incredibile pain

well if he broke his spine - seems like that, lol - he can't feel shit under that point, so there is no "incredible pain", and body defends against pain with endorphine, and he could be lucky that his body released a lot....

about the blood loss, well it's strange that the arteries don't squirt blood out, but if it's true maybe those arteries got so hard crashed that the end simply closed... and if you check the movie it seems a truck caused this... which is more likely crushing than cutting...

ps.: there was a guy in Hungary - just a few years ago -, who fall of from his bike, and get "crushed" into 2 pieces by a lamp post, and there wasn't so many blood there neither...
